When you are in the discovery phase, it can be very helpful to search for analogous research, others who have had some success with solving the challenge you’re tackling.  Check out these resources for inspiration within education!

  • Teaching Channel.  Teaching Channel is a video-enabled collaboration platform that provides teachers and instructional leaders access to an award winning library of teaching videos, tools for deep collaboration, and personalized learning experiences using video.
  • Gooru.  We built a learning navigator to provide students with immediate insight into their strengths and gaps in learning, information on what has worked for students like them, and access to crowd-sourced courses from amazing teachers around the world.
  • Medium: Stories of teachers sharing what they love that they created.

Project Based Learning

  • Buck Institute for Education (BIE)  helps teachers prepare students for successful lives by showing teachers how to use Project Based Learning in all grade levels and subject areas. BIE creates, gathers, and shares high-quality PBL instructional practices and products and provides highly effective services to teachers, schools, and districts.
  • The Sanborn School District collects resources on Blended Learning and Adolescent Brain Research with curriculum and videos.
  • Design Thinking STEM curriculum is compiled on Stanford’s STEM Learning Resources website.
  • Student Centered Learning papers and resources are searchable here: Students at the Center.
